School Closings
Emergency closings
and delayed
opening announcements will be made
over the following radio stations: WSUS 102.3
FM; 103.7 FM; and WNNJ 1360 AM between 6:30 and
8:15 a.m. You can also access an automated
message on our school phone system by calling
our main number. In addition, all emergency
closing information will be posted to News
Channel 12.
Should an unanticipated emergency develop during
the school day which requires an early closing,
it will be announced over the above radio
stations as the emergency arises. Parents will
also be notified via the Honeywell Alert
System.
Please have arrangements in place in the event
of an early dismissal or emergency school
closing.
Delayed
Openings
On mornings when our weather is questionable, we
may announce a “delayed opening”. For grades
K-8, the day will then begin at 10:00 a.m.
Please continue to monitor
your radio as sometimes a delayed opening is
later changed to a school closing.
Pre-school -
In the event of a delayed opening, the
pre-school students are to report to
school at
10:00 a.m. and will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m.
Kindergarten -
In the event of a delayed opening, the morning
kindergarten session is to report at 10:00 a.m.
and will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. The
afternoon session will report at 12:30 p.m. and
will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m. |
